Hi, everyone, I am a student in CHINA. Now I am planing to go to north america to continue my study and research as a PhD candidate from this fall. As most of the applicant did, I applied many universities' PhD program in north america, including universities in CANADA and USA, now I have recieved 3 offers from them. mentioned they will pay the full tuition and living cost in the next several years. but not in the same time. I have accepted a professor's invitation in Canada, but now I got another great universities' invitation in the U.S, of course I perfer to the later one.
depending on my situation, can I decline the first professor's offer and accept the later one? I have signed the offer letter of the first one alreay. I am keen to know your suggestions, someone told me if I do so, it will be a cheating activity as people see in north america. Could you give me some of your experiences and suggestions?
