It is not possible to convert a batch file to an exe file by my understanding.
They are meant to be on two different operating systems dos and windows.
If you cant run it then try running it from within a command prompt.
In windows just go to start->run->cmd and you will get one.
Then use the cd command to get to the directory with the bat/cmd files in it and type their name.

Well they are not meant to be on two different operating systems. DOS can also run EXEs except the Win32 executables. As far as converting BAT to EXE is concerned it cant be done as BAT files are nothing but simple text files containing commands and instruction which the OS executes. Exe files on the other hand are binary files which contain binary instruction for the OS/Processor to execute.

EXE and BAT files can be executed from Windows without the help of any other program. Just double-clicking on the BAT file from the explorer (or executing from the Command Prompt can run a BAT file. It doesn't need to be converted into EXE, although I am interested if it can be done in any way.

I don't think it can be done normally since BAT files are just text files with commands in it. Also they are considered executables in Windows. So, I don't see any reason for it to be converted to EXE.

Well ppl unaware of the fact that BAT is executable under DOS

So running a BAT program can be executed using EXE too

We merely require the BAT file path and

we can design a program that calls the program batch file using
ShellExecute Function available in Windows

You can try urself on that or can ask for help from me.

Its just 10 lines of pure C and Windows code.

Shirish, that is a bit useless since you will still need the original BAT file. It's obvious the TS meant compiling. Which is possible.
