winRAR and 7zip best archivers with strong compression
WinAce provides more compression than WinZip or WinRar
http://www.winace.com I prefer gzip for two reasons: it's a de-facto standard in any *nix environment (and I suppose on windows too, but I don't really care). bzip2 usually gives me better results, but the compression is much slower, so whenever the compression degree is very important, I choose bzip2
Winrar is the best Archiver software
you can compress and can save in many different format
such as .zip .cab .exe .rar and much more
I just use the OS (Mac OS X Tiger). Right-click on the file, and select "Create Archive". Perfect .zip file, no hassle.

No it isn't. PowerArchiver can do the same thing, in fact, it can compress and decompress many more formats than WinRAR and can use the highest compression format in the general public - 7zip.
But 7-zip extractor is really the best for archiving for free.Winrar is the best that I ever used ...
but there is another archiever which is UHARC
UHARC is a high compression multimedia archiver.
It has a better compression ratio than ZIP, RAR, ACE, etc...

I prefer Winrar. It can unzip and zip lots of files!! rar, zip, ......
Of course the best iz 7-zip with its LZMA format
But WinRK is the program i like

agree with you. i used to use winzip and winrar for several years, but now i am using powerarchiver, because it is fast, reliable and not so expesive.7-zip to all files and bzip2 to text files
I never tried KGB Archiver or bzip2.
but, Im fully satisfied with winrar. It's quite fast to view archieved content.

I completely agree, there is nothing better, winrar and winzip suck.
