Hey guys.. My HD is at 38° C .. is it normal??
what is the normal temperature in the HD, Proccesor, Video Card ??
For Hard Drives and Video Cards, I'm not quite sure.
For CPU's it's usuall around 30's to low 40's when idle and 45 to 50 celsius when under stress. Mid 50's are ok, but I would invest in better cooling. Anything higher then 60's, you need to get better cooling.
HDD temperaure sudent be over 40 C
Video Card: 45 C
CPU: 60 C
Therefore, cpu's usually auto shut down when they reach about 85C while some models can even stand 100C(like the new Pentium 4)
But, The Cooler the better.
If you don't want anything extra, don't give money for better cooling.Make sure that everything inside your computer are nicely placed, and that there is a steady flow of air.(this can usuall be done, by placing one fan at the bottom front side of the case, which will suck the air in, and an other one, at the top plca of the back of the pc, which will remove the hot air from you computer. If you don't have extra fans like these, better buy a couple of them, and place them like that. They ony cost about 5Euros each.(10Euro total)
