Mainstream Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified, but made to look as though he had been, and that he ascended to heaven from where he will return personally in the flesh to revive Islam, "kill the pigs and break the crosses".

Does muslims really think this way? Does Quran also support this believe, I wonder!

I am not a muslim, but from my Muslim friends that sounds right. Christians and Muslims can agree that Jesus was a prophet who performed many miracles, was the son of Mary, will return again at the end. What we don't agree on is Jesus's significance for sin, that he is the son of God which is central to Christianity.

Jesus is the son of God! The one thing that seprates Christianity from all others is that in other religions we have to earn our salvation, but in Christianity it is a free gift! Laughing Very Happy Exclamation Just think about it for a while! Exclamation
OK! Laughing Cool Rolling Eyes Idea

Lots of people have different ideas about who really is the prophet. For Jews, Jezus is a regular prophet (or isn't, don't know it for sure), and for Muslims Christus is just a regular God. You can't enforce people to accept a prophet (luckily.)

The big difference between christianity and islam is that Jesus in the eyes of the christians more than only a prophet is.
He is de Son of God, not only a prophet as the muslims say.
But also the christians says that Jesus is God and that he have became a human.
And that is something what muslims never will believe, that God becomes a human.
For the muslims God is 'anybody' who's far away from us, for the christians is God anybody (a real person) who's is close enough for people to get real contact with, it is posible to create a relation with him.

Many people are saying that all the religions are quite the same, but that isn't absolutly not true.
The muslims will believe in the exsisting of Jesus but will reconizing him as the Son of God.

I have heard before that Jezus is God, but that's false I think. Do you know where it is somewhere in the Bible? Or is it just a posing coming from the Vatican?

I can't think of anywhere in the Bible that comes right out and says "Jesus is God", (but it may be in there somewhere and I'm just not thinking of it), but there are numerous places that say it indirectly/poetically. The one that is the most direct and most poetic and cool is John Chapter 1.

Oh there are many areas in the bible where it has been said.

Guyz.. guyz... I got to ask you one thing.. about you guys saying.. Jesus is the son of God.. I think some where it says.. "He send his only begotten son................" right? or some what similar to that... but Iam sure... It uses the word begotten If any body know the meaning for the word begotten... it means... It got to have some sexual intercourse.. so what you say about the above statments all over in the Bible... I don't want to say that God had *** It would be disrespect... So Iam waiting for you guyz to reply.... If nobody replies then I got to assume that... In your belif and holy book ... it says God had ***

Note: Religion in my language means Opinion ... (It could be right it could be wrong.. and you can't say he is wrong and Iam right.. cause both could be right... and sometimes both could be wrong... )

I think somewhere very early on in the church had the same thoughts, which resulted in the Nicene Creed, one of the cornerstones of understanding Jesus. I unfortunately no longer remember the whole thing but one of the distinctions they assert is Jesus is begotten, not made. As in violence begets more violence. Jesus just came into being, not from God having sex (made), he was just there. One of the beautiful mysteries of Christ that has been embraced through history.

Here I've found "son of God." I didn't find anything special at the locations of John, maybe because I have the Dutch translation of the Bible.
