I think it would be better idea of including a Idea Search Box which is very
much help ful in finding the members you have and the popular posts which
are moved to last pages.

Coz when i tried to find my name on members list i moved to 27th page all along it took much time to me to go is also when i have sorted to descending order and my name starts with alphabet S, so imagine for people who wanna see their name in the members area having alphabets in middle.

Coming to the popular post some of them dont have time to see post that are popular and are in the last pages most of them view only with in the limit of 2 or 3 pages. which in result some might lose important information they need so searching of topics by name or type would be more help ful.

to my knowledge firhost is the best website i have ever visited so many times I just love to visit it again and again. so that is the reason it made me to post my suggestion which might be help ful to me and others.

was just a suggestion hope it works !!!

I think what they mean is a direct search box as available in themes like Morpheus.

I thought it sounded different.
To me it appears what he wants is a "GoTo" kind of textbox along with the pagination at places like topic lists and member lists.

phpBB pagination scheme is not very good to say the least.

One may want to take a look at another popular forum script to get inspired Wink



p.s. - Search link is available on every forum page anyway.

I was only trying to clear up the confusion around the original suggestion.

The only "suggestion" that I ever made was that of clearly understanding what the original poster wanted ... I hope you're going to implement that soon enough too.

Anyhow, I sure hope that's OK with close relatives of the Site-Admin Wink
