photoshop vs fireworks

i would like to know which program is used by more people, photoshop or fireworks and which one you think is better... for a while my friends and i have been debating whether fireworks or photoshop is the better program to use, and i always use photoshop, but some of my friends reckon that fireworks is better,

prove them wrong by voting for photoshop.. come on!!
