Again one of those stories ... I doubt that that is proved but I already heared it from several people. You know, it goes around ... But nobody will ever see a scanner broken from such a thing.
It's not because there are a lot of commercials about this, that people really do it that much! And, btw, it's hard to break such a scanner with your ass. They're quite solid.
I am sorry to say this but your picture make me laugh more than any of those pictures in the Funny Pictures section...

Heh, that is very odd indeed. When I read the title of this thread (before clicking on it) I figured that I would see the author's face on a flatbed scanner.
Unfortunately for me, I can't scan my face on my scanner, because it isn't a flatbed one.
