HTML: Automatically add ALT tags

Hi everybody,
Does anyone know of a program that can read my html from a file and find all images without ALT tags, then add an ALT"*.*" with * one being the file name and * two being the extension?
It's because I bought a template for my site and they didn't include ALT tags.

Probably any advanced text editor supporting Find and Replace operation with Regular Expression. Wink
