Anyone else addicted to this thing? Anyone able to tell me why on earth it is addictive, in Ireland Universities are having to ban it becuase students are using it too much and taking up the computers.

Bebo is a service to link up friends and keep in touch i tink.. Similar to Friendster.. It isn't realli addictive.. i tink i used it before but it's all very boring.. did not catch my attention at all..

i have bebo but i don't really use it. . i just get random birthday reminders (often for people i don't know.)

I've got a couple of friends who use bebo. I get about 10 emails a week from bebo on various subjects because my email address is in their contact list. grrrrrr... I'd like to send in the bulldozers!

Ya my email gets clogged up with the you have received a message from someone you barely know. Still though, I suppose its a good way to keep in touch, just too many forwarded emails. Whats myspace like?

Bebo is by far the most addictive computer/internet network ever if you've got a large community of people you know.

I never liked it because of the mass spam it subjects to all your contact list and also I don't like the idea of giving your .net passport password away to a random company.

It can be addictive unless you excercise some will power. What concerns me about it is that there is limited control over tyhe content of individual websites within it and so you have young girls (under 16 - some 14) with pictures of themselves that a peadophile would find very interesting.
I ended up cancelling my membership because of it. Related topics
