AMD Athlon 64 FX 60
This is the fastest processor on the market! Priced at $1031, the FX 60 killed Pentium's Extreme Edition. The biggest problems I find about it is that it's noisy and it doesn't support DDR2 RAM. Though, it ran great with DDR, it can run even better with DDR2.
