I would also go with Smultron. It's the best editor that I've found so far and it could syntax colour a lot of programing/scripting languages. Plus, it looks good.
You can download Smultron at http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/15114.

P.S. Believe me, I've tried a lot of text editors, such as TextWrangler, Nvu, Taco HTML Edit, CreaText, SubEthaEdit, SEEdit Mini...

I'm using TextWrangler now, which is BBEdit, but better.

I also used HyperEdit in the past, where you can see the output of your syntax direct in another part of the screen.

Thanks guys.
Right now I'm using Text Wrangler. I can't believe the price of BBEdit. I could never justify spending that much for a text editor.
But I like TW

Why would you use notepad? It doesn't even have syntax colouring! And to pay for Virtual PC (a lotta [_($)_] ) just to use notepad?
