Formula 1 - Malaysia

Who do you think will take the win in Malaysia this weekend?

Personally I would say that Raikkonen is a good bet. He had bad luck in the qualify last weekend. And of course we have Alonso.

I also hope Rosberg does good again. I'm mean, he got in top 8 and scored the fastest lap in his fierst race ever! That's amazing.

Alonso will won. Shumi will be second again and third i think massa. raikonen will fail in qualification again... i still wait when montoye gets his speed back and will be firghting for first place, it nice to see his agresive driving for good positions

Well, sadly you got a point. Kimi's car keep failing, I wonder if he drives it bad or if it's just unstable. Kimi would have won last season if he did not have his huge technical difficulties...

I agree Alonso's performance is on top and he had courage and support from last season. I do not think anyone will pass Alonso .

Hehe.... When Schumacher was wining evereybody was for schumacher but now alonso os winning and everybody is for alonso. hope that ferrari will win because it is certanly the best team with the best driver. Also alonso is also very good and i think it will become next Schumacher.

I think Schumi is a shoe in...the tires are good from the start, no breaking in like the Michelins...if he gets good grid position and can get his pit strategy back into shape.it should be a good race for him and the team.

I dont really think Kimi cares where he comes..kind of like JPM acted last year, just sitting in the car collecting a paycheck.

Schumi got a bit unlucky his car broke down and some new VERY stupid rules, he got second last race (2006) so he has a chance again.

So very true but I think he will do the very long first stint to put himself close to Alsonso. Target is keeping close to the Championship Leader at the very least. It should be a great race!!!

Well I hope that Shumacher will win the race, but i can't really see it.. so I think that Alonso or Raiconen.

Well, remember all of them somehow failed in the qualification.... this race could be interesting acctually.

So, alonso and fishicela got 2 first places. button somehow got third and montoya fourth. massa was fifth, even when was last in start position. i can't understand what problems shumi have, maybe his strategy of pitstops is wrong, because now massa got one stop and he won much more positions then shumi with two stops. and what we can say about raikonen - he lost his fortune somewhere...

I still believe that Shumacher will win the championship this season, with the right machinery he is still the most talented driver on the grid. Give him time and he will prove it again

bloody christian klien! What the hell is wrong with that idiot?? He's trying to be like Sato last year, bashing everyone whenever he gets the friggin chance. And of all the people to bash into he chooses Kimi. I hate him almost as much as I hate villenueve adn Ralf Schumacher!! Actually, no, I hate RS way much more! Kimi would have won that race! But anyway, one shouldn't cry over spilt beer!

Good for Fisi, finally another win. Especially after Kimi took it away from him in Japan last year, on the final lap. But obviously Alonso would have won had they put in the amount of fuel they were supposed to in qualifying. He would have been much lighter and therefore had more pace. It was a good podium for Jenson. But I think that's as far as he will get. The only way I see him winning a race is if all the other front-runners have problems in qualifying and start at the back of the grid (which we expect Kimi to have a couple of times) or if Christian Klien bashes all them on the first lap (which we also expect to happen, at 6 more times). Yes, honda does have pace, but I don't think they have enough to win a race if all the other contenders are all on the grid.

As for schumi, he's definitely still a great driver. No one in their right mind will dispute that. But is he good enough to go on a proper head-to-head with the young guns and come up on top. I don't think so. Look at Bahrain and what Alonso did to him. Look at what happened in Japan last year and what Kimi and again Alonso did to him. That pass that Alonso pulled at the 130R turn was spectecular. I am suprised he didn't pull the car over right then and there and just retire! They looked strong in Bahrain but all of the Ferrari engines packed out after the race. So we'll see if they are trying to out-do mercedes in terms of unreliability.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with Montoya's car? He's had no pace for two races in a row. We'll see in Australia if there is any improvement. Same thing with Ruebens. Poor guy leaves one crappy car just to jump into one that's even crappier. One that has the ability to lose 3rd gear for a whole race. I also feel sorry for Nico Rosberg. he is on his way to being a star Rookie. With all the drivers moving around to different teams, Nico might just be a nice addition to all the madness. Next thing he will be with Kimi at Renault. You never know!!!

Overall Malaysia was rather eventful but there weren't any interesting battles. It would have been nice if Alonso had challenged for the win in the thrid and final stint. I think Fisi would have cracked from all the pressure and smacked a wall!!

malaysiam GP was ver good alonso came second and schumacher was disappointing.but it was an interesting race

It was a good race, and lloks like Ferrari will really have to pull the stops out to get back at Renault. Delighted Fisi won, he really has had no luck at all last season, and they screwed him up in Bahrain leaving him 50hp short. I think the radio call went somethinglike this... "Fisi, I think you left 50hp back in the garage when you had your last pitstop" Laughing

Anyway Rubens looks like he's having difficulty as Button's second driver. We'll see now can he really drive when he doesn't have a ferrari.
megamass
Let's hope that will get back his power and beat these youngsters. Now I am waiting for next weekend, than we see what shumi can... Let's hope he wil show Smile

Well the only problem I see is how long the engines will last. Look at Ferrari, they were changing engines last weekend like I change my clothes. Not very inspiring Crying or Very sad
