What is a control panal in web hosting service.

To be more precise, say it's about:

how do one expect to manage a website without cpanel. of course some host do not provide cpanel but just some ftp. if thats the case, dont bother about the control panel...
On FriHost Servers you can have either C-Panel (Server-1) or DirectAdmin (Server-2).
C-Panel has more features than DirectAdmin, but (I guess) DirectAdmin is cheaper to run. C-Panel isn't exactly the least expensive alternative around.
