i am absolutly horrible at chess, i know how to play, but its just embaressing
I used to be really good at chess a couple of years ago, but im not that good and i lost interest until a couple of months ago and now i play it every now and again.
I really like chess too, I use to play about once a week on yahoo...but now I just stopped playing, loss of interest I guess. 
Well like all of you i like chess the most,it is my favourite game, but unfortunately i cant found any website for it.Can't we people (fans of chess) come together, and build a website for it,for this all we need is a good web developer and a free web host like fri host.

You do it then! We could play online using Chess notation, only two players can play in a certain forum and can reply a move whenver he wants. That's what we could Correspondence Chess..I aplogize for resurrecting an old thread, but I didn't want to create a second topic on a subject that had already been discussed.

http://www.iecg.org for email chess.
IECG offers to play games on a server or by mail. I think that is pretty good if you like correspondence chess.
Otherwise a good chess site is I think TWIC (The Week In Chess) http://www.chesscenter.com/twic/twic.html that gives fresh information every week. I like chess too, I play about twice a week on yahoo.
Yahooligans has a good chess gameplace, where you go against real people. Sometimes it's quite annoying when people forget that they're playing a game with you, so they stop moving. Anyway here's the site: http://yahooligans.yahoo.com/content/games/chess.html
