We all saw real madrid loose in champions league with one goal they took in their own field
With all those (in theory) quality players, how come they never get past certain rounds in competition, or worst, how can they loose with a team like that!?
Real Madrid are the "Harlem Globetrotters" of the football world.
Skillful players but no guts and determination.
They're all probably saying to themselves "I'm a multi-millionaire, why should I bother trying?"
Real has team of allmost the best players in the world, but lacks in team play wich is the basic of team sports and football with 11 players is more than just a team sport, if you watch Barcelona and how they celebrate every goal you can see what is the difference of one good and one great team,

I think lately they're on a tough phase... Some players are kind of like Prima Donnas (Beckham, Ronaldo, Zidane). They're spineless, and with no team spirit.
They're also missing Pablo Garcia in the midfield. I think that with Garcia's injury Real started to play worse and lose the ball in the midfield area...
I hope they get better and start to win (tho I'm a Villarreal fan, I hate Barcelona above all things, and I don't want 'em to win the title again).
real madrid players are very skillful, but they don't use their unique skills in playing in the field...
Maybe because they are millionaires already, they say to themselves why should i work hard, a have already a lot of money.
If real will play at their very best they will win their matches, maybe they under estimated their opponents... they lack team work and understanding in the court, inspite that they are already superstars of the football world they make people that watch them, laugh at them.... useless superstars...
Everyone who has any idea about football will say more then 3 famous players is too much!! Real has only famous players who dont kown how to play together. If you look Barcelona you see that they have famous players but they also have few good players who are not as famous!!! Real should sell some of the players and use some of its own yougn ones!!!
The players need start to play for they fans.
With all the money that they got, they need do the best to their fans, because with this game, they can't keep play.
I hope they gonna play better, and in the next season maybe do something at the Champion's League or in the Spanish league..
Real Madrid only has indivdual players and no team.
And the club is thinking to much as an organison/company.
I wish them luck, but they will not solve this on the short term.
One solution i can think of is to give more opportunity to the young players (the talents of the club)

I wouldn't say there's no guts and determination. Just no teamwork.
At least the Harlem Globetrotters play as a team.What Real Madrid need is a Big Manager. Big manager in the sense that a manager who will not be intimidated by the reputaiton of the players, a no-nonsense manager and a manager who have the ability to discipline and gel the players together as a team. But the Big question is, will Real Madrid's sucker Chairman allow the manager to steal the limelight? I reallly don't know. What do u guys think? Cheers! 
I think they should start raising more young players. The old are very good but the young have more energy and can be very helpful in the long run.
I wonder how they get all the money to buy all those players. Where ever they are getting the money, they should get more and but better defense players

It has long been a problem for real madrid that they feel pressured into buying a SUPERSTAR every year, simply because they have the money, and the fans expect it, unfortunately the only superstars that you find are attacking midfielders or strikers, meaning that defence is left more or less open

We need Riquelme and Cole or Del Horno and thats it .
The squad is strong enough to beat Barza but we need a good manager.Firstly, Real Madrid need to change its priority from just being the richest football club in the world to the Greatest football club in the world. Cos its obvious that being the richest doesn't make u the greatest. Buying big players improve the team instead of improving the sale of soccer jerseys will be another great start too. Haha. And of course, get them a good manager man. Oh by the way, if richie Beckham really wants to go to USA, for Christ's Sake, let him go. Don't keep him just because his jerseys are selling like hot cakes (oh by the way, that's history) 
Well well, lets hope one fine day, the love and passion of football will once again graze the fields and hearts of Real Madrid. Hopefully one fine day, this great sleeping giant of football with rise up and shake up the soccer arena once more. Cheers!!! Real Madrid now comprises of very talented indivisuals who are constantly looking for their own glory. Not that they play for the team but when there are too many top level players in a team there is always a rivalry amongst the players to prove themselves and looks like thats eating into the teams fortunes.

All professional teams have multi-millionaires why should Real Madrid be any less motivated than the rest? They are clearly more talented.The team need fing selution for the big money that blind the players and they play without love to the club.
She need to play with a neshama and not like stone.
I think is best if Real let all there big names go, so they can bring in fresh new blood who want to win, as where as the players they got only playing for them because there big and they have crap loads of money.
Keep beckham as he gets all there money in and sell most of the others. and rebuild the team again.
i think the solution is to get some nice defenders and have a stable couch. Its difficult to make all these superstars work as a team thats why a good coach is needed

They were playing arsenal - don't take away the achievements of an incredibly young arsenal team who went on to beat Juventus, an extremely strong Villereal, and lead Barcelona for 80 mins with 10 men.They should give all their players to Real Salt Lake. That would be awesome, we could use some good players. We suck in the American league, so that shows you how bad we would be internationally,
I think they should concentrate more on playing and not so much on glammorous life of football.
I think what they need for now is a good defense line. Look at their match against Arsenal, Henry can always find himself space and he can cross over three of RM defense player at a time and score. Look at RM's players, Zidane, Beckham, Ronaldo, they don't have any good defense player except the GK. What they need for now is some good defense, of DM so that their forward can get the ball.

I am a chelsea fan - Del Horno isn't good. If Real Madrid wan't to beat Barca they can forget about ADH 'cause messi will skin him time after time. Also, even with those players, Barca would still be much better. Zidane will be gone next season and even at his age he his one of Madrid's best players, I don't think they will replace him easily. Madrid need to improve their defence aswell as getting in a good defensive midfielder and maybe if Juventus get relegated due to this match fixing scandal Real should take Vieira off Juventus.Get rid of the deadwood, get a decent coach, and concentrate more on playing instead on selling jerseys. Simple.
