How should i chill HDDs noseless?

4ndY
I have 2 HDDs (Seagate Barracuda, 300GB 120GB) and they are pretty hot: max 55C, average 48-50C.
I dont want fans cooling (but only fans are efficient in cooling hdds).
First problem (that i know) is that my case has bad air flow.
Second (maybe): my comp is running 24/7.

Any ideas how to slove problem? (to make somehow liquid cooling?, passive cooling?)

First of all, provide overall cooling to your system by installing an exhaust and an intake fan. Then later you might consider buying two hard disk coolers for your hard disks. A hard disk cooler should cost you somewhere around 10 USD. This is what a hard disk cooler looks like:

Liquid cooling is not needed for keeping your hard disks cool. Its used when you overclock your system.

if you ask me, dont waste money on getting hdd coolers. get a normal 80mm fan and mount it using plastic clips below the hdd. it totally worked for me and the hdd had a drop of arnd 6-8 degrees..

Ya'll don't seem to realize, 4ndY wants to do this silently.
In that case, liquid cooling is the only way to go.

There is a good way though. Just go to control panel, then power options. You can adjust "turn off HD" after 20mins if you want.

Since you say you are running the computer 24/7. I don't think you'll stay awake 24/7. lol. And so, after not using the computer for 20mins, it will automatically shut down.

are you joking? The pumps for a liquid cooling system are atleast twice the noise of a standard 80mm fan.

really? hmm... i have one pump in my aquarium (for turtle Razz ) and its absolutely silent. If im going to make liquid cooling system i'll use sth like that in my aquarium - that should work, right? or it must be some special pump?

You could buy something like this:

It's a Zalman heatpipe design and is supposed to cool quite okay.
