I would like someone to put the wordpress blog part into the normal template on the front page. Like, the only wordpress aspect is the blog, and that is in between the header, siderbar and ads (with the copyright still at the bottom)

Here is what I mean:


But, of course, the same background colour and cleaner.

100FRIH$ to anyone who can help. If you need certain files (the .swf files, or the adsense codes) I can tell you where to download them.

All I know about php is... scrap that. I don't know anything about php. Or "I frame"... Sad

iframe is html Confused

It's just frames.

The good news is: you dont need to know anything about php!

All you need is something like this:

<html>

<!--Loads of other tags which make up your page-->

<!--whenever you want to include another document do this:-->

<?php
include('filename');
?>

<!--then more of your page...-->

</html>


just replace the filename bit and your good to go...

When you look at your source it will basically be one page where the middle bit is the content of your file, as named where i wrote 'filename'

This works pretty well....and is very simple

As mentioned you could also use iFrames:

you should be able to figure the attributes yourself...there are loads more...just look on the w3c site if you want to change something...

Be aware that search engines dont realise content that is inside iframes...

Ok I STILL can't get it working... Now 200 FRIH$ for someone who can give me the source code for the files for which I want to change, or explain in simple step-by-step instructions on what to do. And BTW, it has to be so that whenever I make a post in wordpress, it shows up how I want it to. And the default wordpress options on the right hand side, above the adsense code (or, if too hard, scrap the adsense code) like search, categories, admin, etc etc...
Also, the source code is different to the actual code. If you need the code to any of the files in the news section, or the header, sidebar just ask me...

Ok...so i started trying to write the php include code for you - which should be very simple - but then i realized it wont work - because wordpress will want to output its own header...

I then thought of iframes but then realized that it would be almost impossible to move the wordpress options to the place you want them. - and also irfames suck...

Here's my tip then: Instead of trying to incorporate wordpress in your webpage, start with wordpress and modify the appearance with all your cool graphics & stuff.

In the long run i think that will be the only solution which would be satisfactory for you.

If you want help with this, i can try, however i would need pretty much full access to your hosting account, which im not sure whether you would be happy to give me. Very Happy
