Can I install Mods in PHPBB hosted in FriHost

Hi All,

I wanted to know if I can install or configure certain mods in phpbb which is hosted in FriHost (through EasyMod or manual).

I have still not installed phpbb because I am a new user and my hosting request is yet to be handled.

But I would appreciate any information on this issue before I start.

Yes it is possible to install phpBB and most (if not all) mods/hacks available for it.

Finaly an place where you can host your forum AND use mods for free :p

I was using the forumup services, but they don't allow mods, and you even can't backup your own database, but if that i no problem for you, and you just want an forum then it's an alternative.

You can install phpBB and ANY mod for that system.

You can also install PHPNuke, SMF, IB(the free version) and many other Free site systems.

If you want to install non-free systems like vBulletin or IB 2.0, you'd have to prove that the system has been bought by you.

yeah, I hope I get an account, otherwise I have to find another good free host with good quality. And I don't think I gonna find another free host with frihost-like quality and mysql/php support :p
