The keyword there is "think". We don't know what the risks are, and we aren't willing to take them. Think of it as pouring gasoline onto a fire that is consuming your house. We already have enough problems in the middle east, do we really need Iran to cause more?
That is not to say they will, but the risk is there, and the risk of nuclear war would not make me want to support Iran in any way. The entire middle east is too instable (currently, and in my opinion) for such powerful weapons.
Then again, if Iran tried something, we'd have 2500 nukes pointed right at them... watching their every move.

True, Iran just can't break the law and get away with it like other countries can. But do remember China and Russia do got Iran's Back and with those two behind them, Iran can do more than the average joe smoe. No one has a chance then...One can say with surety that USA certainly has nuclear weapons, may be hidden underground or maybe somewhere else, but they have it.
They just want to have the monopoly of nuclear weaponry. They dont want others to be ahead of them. That is why they are opposing Iran and threatening to impose sanctions.
Iran has every right to own one.
Just because it is a muslim country or just because its leaders are radical doesnt mean they cant build nuclear weapons.
The reason US is continually hesitating to give Veto status to India in the UN is due to the reason that they want to control india. US thinks Giving 2 neighbours like India and China veto status may impair US freedom.

This is delicate matters, this is a real fret, and I´m not talking about Iran having nuclear bombs. U.S.A admit theirselves as a war country, with their war president, so that gives a clue on who´s causing this hostility and nonsense to this world.

The possibility that Iran could develop nuclear weapons is totally unexceptable. Using nuclear power for energy is OK but it seems a fine borderline between that and weapons if they have access to the right materials.
In any case do we really think that Iran will fire such weapons, no not a chance. In any case why would they need to. They will simply supply crack-pot terrorist with the weapons and let them do the job for them.
That for me is what the real threat of Iran development of nuclear weapons.
Its about time that we all grew up and realised that we are all human and the planet belongs to everyone. We all have a juty to take care of it and stop religion/creed being the catalist that it has been for most of the wars that have been started.
Every country has the right to protect themself. Nuclear weapons are a way to do that, not the best way, but can end a war quickly if need be. I say it's fine for Iran to have nuclear weapons, but they should only use them as a last resort and should be sure of protecting them against the threat of one falling into the wrong hands, such as Bin Laden.
Perhaps we should stop pressuring Iran, and let them use nuclear technology, and pray to God that they are not developing nukes to harm us.

Iran I think is definitely in the process of building or at least trying to build nuclear weapons. I for one believe that nukes should do not belong in the hands of religious fanatics with a history of *ahem* craziness. And there's another part to the story, if the USA does not do anything about the developing nuclear situation in Iran, it is likely that Israel will, which would leave America to clean up the diplomatic mess. Israel has in the past taken military action to ensure their national security and their intelligence in the middle east is excellent compared to that of America. They would not hesitate to, lets say, deploy a couple of bomber to destroy several Iranian nuclear installations when they find them.
My opinion:
They do have nukes. They are willing to use them.
I predict an invasion of Iran within the next few months.

There are some countries with nuclear weapons that shouldn't have them. Iran shouldn't have nuclear weapons because it is just to risky. Iran isnt a really political stable country. So when some Sadam Hussein like guy is going to rule the country, and that's possible in Iran, you just can't risk such a person with nuclear weapons. He doesn't care about a 3rd world war or something like that so he will use nuclear weapons when he likes too.

The USA is not the only world power, but it is the world's only super-power.
If that weren't true, then why can we overthrow countries at will, while suffering a sixth of the casualties the enemy does?
Russia and China could possibly make the USA back down, expecialy if they worked together, but neither would dare attack. Nobody wants WWIII.

USA is not supporting india to make nukes, it is only giving nuclear fuel to those reactors which will be monitored . these reactors will be used for peacefull purpose only , india had nukes from the past 30 years , but has never leaked the info to any other country like pakistan did ,

there are many reasons , india and china are buying oil wells all around the world , they need more power , if india gets nuclear fuel from usa , it will need less oil , and the oil prices will go down ,
on the other hand , usa wins a favour with india , so in the long term usa will have a great country's support ,when china becomes more agressive ,
another reason , india has a large market , it has more middleclass familys then the entire population of the United states , so american companies will make a lot of profit ,

The problem is that Iran only needs one nuclear weapon to cause havoc on the world. As a nation, they have admitted the desire to "wipe Israel off the map" - one or two nuclear warheads would certainly help them achieve that goal. It would also cause massive nuclear fallout in the surrounding regions. Then what? Will the rest of the developed world "nuke" them to prove a point? How will that help? Or will everyone be too scared to act incase some of the nasty nuclear stuff heads their way?
It's a real concern.Iran, in reality, has always been powerful. It has existed since the Judisiam times. Perhaps even the hindu times. It was called Persia. Iran has existed without the help of God's messengers and prophets. It has existed without the help of allies. It has been around for a long time. But it has always been powerful. Now with the USA being the main source of power, Iran might be jeleous of its power.
Usa wants oil. The two countries that guarded the west from destroying the Middle East were Iraq and Iran. Now Iraq completely destroyed, there is just Iran.
I have almost no doubts that Iran is building the nuclear weapons. But I am glad they are. Because every other country in the West seems to have them! Isreal has them too. And the difference is, it is willing to use them. Now imagine any situation where one side hits the other side. The rest would be a mass of nuclear weapons flying around. The world would be destroyed.
Everyone does not want Iran to have nuclear weapons and another source of power because they think that the Muslim leaders are like saddam hussein. All the western leaders want Iran to stay weak and so that it does not rise to the power it once possessed.

Yikes. This is just perfect. Now we are most likely to attack Iran, and other countries will get involved. (What's the deal with China and Russia, I find that at a lot of sites people are complaining about them) and could lead to a World War III. Not good.
If we find the idea of nukes in iran uncomfortable maybe we should have thought about that before we decided to have them in our own countries, its no good bleating that they will be breaking international law when we were all too happy to do the same when invading iraq. The west and the middle east are far far from understanding each other, which is odd as they have so much in common, unfortunately a lot of which are the bad things.
