Billions of pounds that should rightly be improving the lives of millions of impoverished Russians have somehow found themselves into the pocket of one very rich oligarch and from there into a handful of greedy footballers' pockets.
The result is a very boring and efficient football team playing the same type of football as the German national team. While the racist British press are happy to describe the Gemans as boring and clinical, they shy away from such descriptions when it comes to Chelsea because they fear irritating the all-powerful media-managers at Stamford Bridge and missing out on 'exclusive' interviews with tedious dunces such as Joe Cole, John Terry and Frank Lampard et al.
Meanwhile, the Kings of the King's Road are happy to buy talented players at extortionate prices, just to keep them on the bench for nearly a complete season, in order to keep them out of the teams of their more established rivals; Teams which have genuine support after years of hard-earned success. A feat which Chelsea hope to emulate with a glitzy, big buck, quick-fix, failing to understand the lack of charm of the nouveau-riche mansion built next to the genuine stately home, but with the addition of double-glazing and white leather sofas.

Well Let's see what will they do against Barcelona this week..
I think they gonna play very well... and even could win.. cos they have to win, IF now they will lose the oportunity finnaly to win the Champion's League

Finally?
Chelsea have only been one of 'top' teams for a very few years. And this only because their previous chairman spent money Chelsea could not afford and thereby artificially inflated their league position - hence, they were massively in debt and an easy take-over for the Russian oligarch.
I don't mind if they play good football with that kind of money. Sadly all the play-acting and ego-istic manager has spoilt the game they play totally..

Chelsea is a club with too much money. You think that there is no such think as having too much money but think again. Chelsea is a club which doesnt have many young players and they only buy new players but there costs a lot and in a near future Abramovič will see that he doesnt have that kind of profit he wants so he will sell the club and the new owner wont have so much money and wont be able to spend so much on new players and the dont have younger ones and team will fall apart in one season. If you compare Barcelona and Chelsea you see that Barcelona have histoy the have players that they created and they can pay Ronaldinho and others with the money they get from selling younger players. Chelsea is like Madrid and look what became of Real Madrid. They thought if they buy so many good and well-known players they will win everything but the didnt won last year and they wont eighter. Barcelona was many (10) years ago like Chelsea and they werent so good but now they changed theirs pšolicy and they are winning....
With their recent defeats they're quite vulnerable.

I am so glad that Chelsea lost a couple of matches. They think they are the best and noboday can beat them but think again.....
As a Barca supporter I was thrilled to progess in the champions league.
But it was disappointing that Chelsea really didn't turn up for the tie. It would have been nice to win in the spirit of the game (sans controversy) of last year. This year it was a lacklustre affair although I far preferred the result.
There's no doubt that Chelsea are a great team. It takes more than just buying the best players, look at Real Madrid HAHA. The players and coaching are all fantastic. However Mourinho needs to add some diplomacy to his repertoire of skills. It does him and his players no service, just takes the gloss of a great side.

well.. on the last weeks.. everyone can see that Chelsea play's little badly from how she played at the first games.. Cos they won the championcheap, and they have yeridat metah on their games
Chelsea dont play the greatest football, dont have the best players or tactics and its hard to say why they keep winning, I beleive that its just a lack of competition, the man united of 99 or 94 would be ahead of them were they batttling it out. I believe that Lampard is the most over rated player in the premiership

Agreed, there's nothing original in the way they play, and certainly other teams are copping on to their 'tactics' if you could glorify what they do with a name
Watch them try to chase a game when they go behind, and it's a pretty unedifying specatacle. Long balls up the pitch for Drogba FFS.
As it is, they're looking shaky coming into the end of the season.
