I am looking for some good sites for knitting. If anyone can point me in the right direction, as I am trying to learn to knit.
Knitting anyone?
Topic moved to "hobbies and animals".

I did a bit of research to help you out and found three good sites that have some good starting lessons and tutorials on knitting.

http://www.knit-o-rama.com/gettingstarted.html
http://www.learntoknit.com/instructions_kn.php3
http://www.knittinghelp.com/

The very last one even has instructional videos which you can view to help you on learning.
Hope it helps,

I knew how to knit a long time ago. My sister however, knows how to make bobbin lace, isn't that cool?
www.knittinghelp.com is especially useful. I've used it many times to help understand things better. After you've learned a little go to www.knitty.com, or www.magknits.com for some cool patterns. These are great on-line magazines with articles and hip patterns. I am always knitting (and have a knitting blog) so I frequent these often. Good luck, and tell us if you are successful.
Ah, knitting, used to love it as a kid. Haven't done any for a long time now, but I reckon I still could at a pinch.
Used to have quite a collection of knitting needles when I was a lad.

I'm new to knitting and am always on the lookout for websites to aid me. The links you had were very helpful. I wanted to pass along a video site I found that has a few basic how to knit videos: http://www.monkeysee.com/play/5538-how-to-knit
I'm not sure if you're interested in how to knit videos, but I found these useful when I was just starting out.
