I ve been checking out these template sites and downloaded a few.
But could you pls tell me how to edit these templates in order to change the topic or picture etc.
Any particular program?

As for programs to edit templates with, I'd use what I always use... Notepad or your text editor of choice.

Use dreamweaver or frontpage and photoshop to edit the site, Dreamweaver or frontpage for the coding and editnig the coding. Photoshop to edit the pictures and make them look how you want them to look.
