speed??? high??? low?? from China!.

before I get a account I want to ask:
Can you tell me the speed form here to China???
I am work and live in China, I want get a personal home page, I am study software, If I build a personal home page from zero, that will be a hard work. However , the website www.163.com which is my Email's site povide a blog, but it do not provide webspace for me to put some cursor, picture, music etc.
So I am search a free web space. I love to study JSP, PHP. ANd a PHP web space could also be OK, I do not hope the website provide database, and I do not expect too large space. Just wish it can be visite quickly, and do not have file size limit or not too small.

If this site do not agree with me , please tell me !!
and If there other one is better to me , tell me ,too.

One thing you have to understand is that the FriHost server is in the USA, whereas your email server is probably in China. So, the server might be slightly slower (it still is pretty fast though)

The access speed is very good from China.
I'm using China education net,my speed is very good.
