phpbb forum giving blank page in IE

hello.
I just recently started setting up a phpbb-board (and modding it right now).
The problem is, that when I try to access it with the internet explorer I get a blank page without any errors. But I can access it with opera without any problem and test all (all is functioning).
If you want to test if it works with your IE, here is the url:

If you can help me solve this problem I would be very happy.

Works for me as well. Hit CTRL+F5 to do a forced refresh.

That aside though, I've found this can happen when you have been modding or whatever and forget to close certain tags within the <head>, especially <link>, <style> and <script> tags. Mozilla and Opera seem to close them for you when they see </head> but IE doesn't.

CTRL+F5 does not help as well as clearing the cache and rebooting the pc.
Since you both can access the forum with IE I think it somehow has to do something with the IE on my pc, although I can access all other websites with it. That's very very strange.
Right now I make a check of my pc with Spybot and Ad-Aware, maybe there's something on it that prevents my IE from entering phpbb-forums. I can't access the freehost-forum as well, but can see the main-page of frihost.
Ah, I have another idea, maybe it's some mechanism of Spybot, that shall be used to prevent certain ads from showing because the contain malware. Maybe it thinks a phpbb is this type of it. I'll take a look into it.

if ur still working on this i would suggest u make a backup of ur forum before modding.. just incase, and as i can see when i followed the link.. it already looks a lil screwed up Surprised

Or that the worm has changed the files. Don't chmod them to 777 and search in the forums how to fix it...

CHMOD config.php back to 644 after every installation. People always forget that and leave their board open to security risks.
