Ok I came across this article a while back, but I remember the last line said. "A man who split open the red sea, but got lost for 40 days?"
I thought it was a pretty good point, what do you think?
EDIT: This isn't meant to offend anyone.
Exodus. Moses led the hebrew slaves across the red sea. When he died, his disiple Joshua led the hebrews to the promise land. He dried up the river jordan, not just split it, but dried the whole thing up, so the slaves could pass. Im sure most people know this though, but what you probably did'nt know, is that once Joshua led the hebrews into the promise land, they killed almost every person and every city in that whole region. Thousands and thousands of people died because god said that it was their land. How can you believe in a god that would do such a thing? Anyway I think they wandered in the dessert for 40 years because he did something to piss off god.
BTW I am not religous or anything, I just like to learn things =) Lol
They weren't lost, they were waiting for God to direct them to the promised land. I don't recall the story very well, as it's been too long since I've read it, but the Hebrews disobeyed God in someway, so God gave them the 40 years of punishment.
There is no power of God, there is only power of Man, The only religion to get it right is Buddhism, and there is an extended version of Buddhism though, that states that there is such thing as god, but man is god, and can reach the higher plane of existence through enlightenment, and at this stage man can has all the knowledge of the universe, for if knowledge is power, than a god is a person on the higher plane of existence.
The man didn't part the red sea. God did it.

Amen to that, God did it through man.
