Sprint Slogan or Porn Promotion

I think you're overanalyzing it.
well its really really good advertising. just a proof of this is that you mentioned and discussed atleast something about your company on the forums whiile you never have done if there were no slogans like that.
well the basic aim of an advertisement is to reach to the people and and place your company's name in their minds for a long time. well no one would have noticed the slogan like "best call center in the country" or " taking calls is our passion" but the slogans like "Great Service, I gave it, They Liked it." can really affect the minds and they remember it for a long time and can recall your company's name easily. also, no one will share the slogans like " taking calls is our passion" with their friends and they will be less bothered about it. but the slogans you mentioned might give them a free mouth to mouth publicity as you could share a joke or two on this with your friends.
well its not over analyzed.

It doesn't sound like a big deal, but the marketing team may be taking the overused approach of "sex sells", or in their case innuendos.
Well, we could always get upset at Sprint and start burning down their offices nationwide, I mean, that seems to be an acceptable solution to things in the world these days.
And what about Nintendo DS's "Touching is good" slogan? Why aren't you ranting about that?
Hi, glennesau. You raise an interesting subject. I would say there are a number of different potential bads (or not bads).
The company’s reputation with its (potential) customers is one thing. I could see those slogans being memorable and considered cute, but I could also see conservatives getting up in arms to a certain extent. But even with the latter “bad”, as is often said, any publicity is good publicity.
The perspective I would care about more, is whether any employees were coerced into wearing those things. If so, I would say that was bad. You may have left before you found out the answer to that.
~~~~~~~~~~
I’m reminded of my own example. I was at a trade show where they were giving away a lot of cool free stuff. Into my “trick or treat” bag went a nice-looking hat. At home later I realized it said across the front “Who’s the best in bed?” I was, like, “Where the heck am I going to wear that?”
I’m no prude but that’s just not my style. On the back it says “Westin Hotels & Resorts”.
I do think it’s a cute idea for a hotel. But that cute idea just sits on my hat rack gathering dust. I should give it away, I guess, but I keep thinking there’s going to be a costume it fits with some day.
~~~~~~~~~~
What I was wondering about was who did the recall demanding? Was it people in general, or actual clients, or employees, or some other group? Not important; just curious, if you know.

And besides, sex sells. Unfortunately or fortunately (depending on how you look at it), it's just almost become fact.
