Just to warn you, Typo3 has a very steep learning curve so you might want to get a book on it. Don't expect to create a CMS very quickly if this is your first time using Typo3. Personally, I hate Typo3. The interface is just terrible,I don't know if you can change it, but the icons are so damn small.

k. But do you think it will be great if I learn it?
Is it that useful?

This is what I think. No I don't think it will be that useful to spend your time learning that. But let's say you do learn Typo3, here's what you'll be able to do with it: you could create a CMS relatively quickly. That's a good thing if you will be designing many CMSs for other sites for a profit. If you aren't going to do that, I suggest you invest the time in learning a programming language that is web suitable, Ruby or PHP for example. That way, you can create your own CMS by hand, and have it look exactly how you want, and you will have the knowledge to create many other web-applications alike. Learning PHP or Ruby might take a bit longer than learning Typo3, especially if you have never programmed before, but the results are far greater than if you had just used Typo3. But if you don't have that kind of time to spare, then I'll try suggesting an alternative to Typo3, that is user-friendly from the start. When you answer, make sure to include exactly what you want your site to do. Just one recomendation for now, if you want a blog type interface, then I strongly suggest Typo (not Typo3, I hate the name confusion here) @ www.typo.leetsoft.com (the site will have a redirection to typosphere.com I think).

Hope I've helped,

David

Typo3 is not for beginners it will take time to learn it... I'm a typo3 developer here in the philippines and at first i found it very confusing but later on if you put time on learning it... you can create a site with a cms functionality in a day... others say that typo3 is hard to learn and i agree to that. and one thing typo3 support is very poor because of its language support. but by now i think there 3 books for typo3 and i got those on google please search it....

can i ask if typo3 is enable or tested here in frihost? cause many free hosting site not allowed TYpO3...
