I love UltraFXP.. It is (recently) freeware... Used to cost but they got sued by FlashFXP from what I hear so they released their last release as freeware... It is hard to find working links to the software as the site has been taken down but I looked and found this link... http://www.click-now.net/html/UltraFXP.htm

I use cyberduck which is a freeware and it is really cool.
But I think you won't be able to install it if you haven't got a Macintosh... I know that fileZilla is great too! joemanspace

The FTP is FILE TRANSMISSION PROTOCOL and use port 21. I have two programs one is Cute FTP, and best program is Total Comander Total Comander is very simple and lite but he have very well options You use FTP when you must copy your web site on host. Dreamvewer have FTP but this FTP is very bed. Animal
