Linux and Other Commercial UNIX clustering

We are on the way of choosing Linux, AIX or HPUX to build cluster.
Any comment on those?

I would vote for OpenMosix (linux) cluster. My reasons:
1. free
2. HUGE userbase and community
3. ready to use tools
4. OpenMosix is based on the pioneer work, done by prof. Barak in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (in fact, prof Barak still distributes the original Mosix package: http://mosix.com )

You may try openmosix/knoppix live CD's for instant cluster creation http://bofh.be/clusterknoppix/

Linux would definately be the way to go. Everything I've read about building clusters (a considerable amount, due to the fact that I intend to do so) advocates linux.

I already build a cluster using openMosix and worked perfect after few configurations the fastest more relieble and live with clusterknoppix

Depends on the cluster. Check out:

Sounds like you are interested in a high-performance cluster due to the mention of mosix, but high availability / load balancing clusters are very useful too, and much simpler in a way.
