Koontz

Anything from Koontz. My favorite author is really Steven King, but Koonz fills in the gaps between King's offerings.

Isaac Asimov, Anne Rice and Salvatore, etc. also fit the bill.

Tom Clancy is OK- A lot of his books deal with war in a political light instead of for the adventure of it all; I realize that is the way the real world works, but it is not my cup of tea.

I'm also a Koontz fan, some of his stuff can be a little slow but usually ends up being worth the time to read.

I can't seem to keep up with his books tho, he's a pretty prolific writer and I don't have that much time anymore....wish I did.

Koontz is a pulp fiction writer. He really annoys me for some reason with his standard intrigues and simplistic treatment of subjects.

And his book are often unbelievable in a bad sense, since I find my self cringing at the often very corny characters and story - there is no suspension of disbeleief.

Koontz is one of my favorite authors, but his earlier work is much better than his current offerings (in my opinion).
