Civilian N-deal: Pak seeks parity with India

| ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday urged the world community to treat it at par with India in civilian nuclear cooperation.
"Pakistan expects that the United States, France and the international community should treat equally both Pakistan and India while extending civilian nuclear cooperation as Pakistan also needs international help to generate nuclear power to meet its energy needs," foreign office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said at a weekly news briefing. Aslam was commenting over reports that India and France had signed an agreement to pursue civilian nuclear cooperation for peaceful purposes during French President Jacques Chirac's visit to India. "Pakistan and India enjoy equal status on the nuclear issue and both are non-signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty," Aslam said. |
now why do u think the world would give nuke fuel to a country which is responsible for iran and north korea devloping Nukes today ,
had not libya confessed to the world about it , we would have never known ,
Pakistan should not get nuclear fuel. i doubt that Osama must have told Paksitani foreign officials to ask for nuclear fuel as he need them to prepare his own nuclear weapons with the help of pakistani scientists and officials.

Probably not, because we don't know what the outcome would be. We can't tell if they would use it for good or bad, or what their intentions are, and as far as I'm concerned... don't take the risk.
