SEO Programs

I was wondering if anyone here uses SEO Appz like Web Postion Gold or Web CEO. Maybe it's due to my inexperience, but I find them very complicated and hard to understand...... Web CEO especially. IfI do go to all the trouble to understand them and use them, will the benifit me much?

Time consuming sums it up perfectly. And I just wonder if after it's all said and done, does it really make a differance.
I once did a web site for a guy who actually coughed up some cash (I think it was about $200) to help his ranking on Yahoo. It's stuff like that that really makes me wonder if all the Search Engine hype is worth it. Why go to the trouble if someone else can just come in and "buy" his position?

Yeah I use SEO to increase Google PR of my site.

There is no reason to using this engines to promote your site especially on
google.Google in some their declarations even warn users of WebGold
that doing some spamming jobs and that sites will be banned...
Something similar had happened to me and I think it's enough reasons to not use those programs...
If you really want to promote your site at 200+ search engines worldwide
those programs might be useful but nothing more or less...
Leave to google spider to do his job and don't worry.If you want a better position better way is to every day update your web pages Very Happy

Do you really need 200+ Search Engines?????
The average computer user knows Google and Yahoo. Maybe the more savy ones have heard of Alta Vista or Excite.
I just think it's overkill.
