I'm new!

Well, I'm new here. The name is Chris

I was looking for a web host because I have had geociites recently but I don't like the way they run things. And I'd prefer to have a different address then http://www.geocities.com/mason11987/aod.html for my Kings of Chaos alliance. The ads are WAY too annoying, I can't deal with it anymore. But I NEED a host that allows me to actually edit the html (as opposed to freewebs).

I also make computer video games using visual basic. This is my site at the moment http://www.geocities.com/mason11987/mygames.html but I haven't updated it very recently. I'm trying to figure out a way of making it work better and I think I just need a fresh start on a new host.

I'm 18, I'm in college in North Carolina. I'm going into computer science, specifically computer programming, I love video games, and other stuff like that. I don't have money to pay for a host so that's why I'm here. I don't know exactly how stuff will work out here so I hope that these 5 posts aren't a waste of time. We'll see though I suppose.

Hi, Chris. I'm a fairly new fish in this pond, as well. I doubt that your five posts will prove to be a waste of time, as these forums are fabulous. It's a foregone conclusion that you'll meet lots of lovely folks who post quite interesting threads.

In any event, I imagine that it's quite chilly in North Carolina. We've had a wet and windy winter here in Florida where I spend all my time tanning on a white, sandy beach. On a serious note, it has been rather cold this winter.
