Hello you all
My name is Caroline, but I prefer you call me just Carol.
My english is VERY bad so if you don't understand something I say, feel free to correct me (or just ignore me
)
I'm currently studying to score on vestibular (an exam which tells you if you're allowed or not to go to college or university here in Brazil) and I like making websites just for fun.
I'm 18... I don't have much to say, just hello (and I've already said that...)
so... that's it! I hope make a lot of friend around the world!
kisses

Hi Alex! You're so sweet! So you're french, that's great, I wish I could speak french (but I will someday, hopefully
)
Well, I don't know yet which website I want to create... It's all because me and my classmates are under a lot of stress because of studying and we thought that a website could entertain us and keep us together... So I guess it will be like a girl website with some silly things we like to talk about
But I will let you know when we decide. Thank you for you warm welcome!

Lennon, you really tried to talk to me in portuguese, that was so sweet
But I don't really wanna scare you with my photo
Seriously, I don't have a good one right now, but as soon as take a GOOD PHOTO of me I'll send it to you! Thanks for you welcome, see you around
Hi, Carol. We've already spoken, but I wanted to stop in and return the favor. Several years ago, I hosted an exchange student from Brazil. We had a most fabulous time! Her name was Mayra and she practiced Capoeira. She taught me a few basic moves, most notably, the Ginga. I'm not sure if you are familiar with it, but you reminded me of May and she, in turn, reminded me of Capoeira.
Brazil sounds quite interesting.. I'd love to visit Brazil someday when I'm a bit older and rich, and when I'm ready to sit on an aircarft 15 hours (don't believe that's even enough).
Well, nice to have somebody from a little more exotic country (exotic in my point of view.. many foreign ppl think that the Finland is also quite exotic and i don't think that at all) and of course, welcome!
And btw, youre english isn't so bad altought you claim that.

I know the Ginga! It's the only capoeira move I know, really
I tried to learn more moves few years ago, but I guess it wasn't my thing at all
By the way, I have plans to be an exchange student someday

I think you don't really need to be rich to visit Brazil but of course if you're older you can enjoy more your travel. I don't think 15 hours it's enough either
but I'd face it to go to Finland with a big smile on my face
I'm a bit curious about Finland, it sounds like a completely different world to me...
Well to me, some regions in Brazil are quite exotic. This country is so big that even if you're from here you will never learn all about the culture! Where I live (Fortaleza) it's not exotic but it's very beautiful and the beaches are fantastic! My hometown (São Paulo) it's a relly big city which fights against every-day problems that other big cities of the world fight too. But if you'd go to Amazonia, THAT IS EXOTIC, my friend! And very very beautiful too!
kisses, thanks for the welcome!

You know, I hear that Florida is very nice.
On a serious note, which company would you use? I know many companies cater to high school students, but I'm not familiar with many companies that extend the offer to those who have graduated. I suppose I should look it up, eh? By the by, May was from Sao Paulo.

I didn't really think about it yet, but since you asked I'll start to do some "google search"
I'm from São Paulo too! But I don't live the anymore, I live in Fortaleza (Ceará)... Beautiful beaches!
kisses
I thank you to answer my introduction post!
Sarah and you are "so sweet" (as you say) with me!
I hope you will have your vestibular easily and I love Brazil.
I has never been in Brazil but it seems to be so cool!
good luck again
"kisses" (as you could say)
Alex

It's ok, people make mistakes

So the real question is do you participate in Carnival? I'm living in the United States so I've never been down there for this, but I have seen (movies, internet) that it seems like a really festive time. I dated a girl from Brazil once, she was a crazy driver and after our first date (she drove) I insisted on driving from that point on.
Regarding romance, etc. she was pretty aggresive. She was the one to ask me out and virtually make every move. We ended up being great friends.
There's plenty more of this story, but obviously this is a public site and I'm respecting that.
Excelsior!
Best regards,
Sizzle
