Upload Limit Increase Request -For Youth Project Site

tolgaist
Hi there,

I am preparing a site for a volunteer service in Istanbul. I am using joomla 1.07 and when I try to upload zoom module it say it can't perform action because of upload limit size (zoom module is 1.5mb i think)

so what I need is increase of my upload limit.

There will be no warez, mp3 of anykind and no illegal stuff. Just useful documents for Youth Projects.

Awaiting for your reply..

if you are on the DirectAdmin server your file size limit should be 95.8MB! im not sure what the cPanel file size limit is though.

There isn't any upload limit at all Confused.

It may be your internet connection or your FTP program.

Yea its most probably your internet connection. Im under a controlled wireless broadbadn service and the most for uploads would be 1mb! that's worse

so im guessing its most definitely, internet connection. Wink

There is currently a limit of about 100Mb on server 2. However, there can be limitations if you want to upload it with a browser. Give it a try with ftp and it should be working fine.

If you are uploading by broswer..on server 1, it's really pityful.

2mb only Neutral.

Bondings, I appeal to increase the upload limit to 100mb.

And set the tmp directory to /tmp/

For server 2, it is 1 MB only. I was using mkportal, and it says that increase upload limit in php.ini, if you want to upload larger file than 1 MB.

So kindly increase upload limit to 5 MB in php.ini.

In the php.ini file, the upload limit is 8MB.
