So yeah, some people say that this guy might have known something - he was apparentlty the VP's lawyer?
What do you think? conspiricy or accident? I mean, who goes hunting with their lawyer? And if said person is wearing a BIGHT ORANGE VEST how can you mistake them for a dull brown quail? Little odd, no?it was the lawyers mistake , first of all he decided to join them , and then he came in front of them and dint announce it to them that he is there ,
I think that the whole incident was an accident. The more interesing thing to me was the press conference. I still can't figure out why this guy was apologizing to Cheney for getting shot by him.
I love how the Daily Show mocked this for the past 3 days. It's definitly blown out of proportion, but it IS hilarious.

Well, for one thing, he's ruined the VP's chances of becoming President (if there ever was any). Imagine the Whitehouse quips too: "Knock three times and shout out before you enter the President's office - he might shoot you if you catch him by surprise!"
Secondly, he's helped make the VP look like a fool, now and forever. "Dead-Eye Dick" will never be forgotten!
Thirdly, the VP's lucky the police are nice people - he could have been charged with attempted homicide, or a few other charges and done some 'hard time' ( you think?).
Finaly, he didn't have the correct stamp/license, so this has shown him up to be someone who thinks he's above the law just because he's the VP. Tch, tch! Looks like the VP really needs a lawyer right now - oops - I don't think they'll be lining up - they might be mistaken for quail!

Well his lawyer won't be saying 'say face' anymore will he.
THe worst part about it is that cheyna was drunk, the guy he shot had a heart attack right after it, and then he guy apologizes.Although I am not going to declare that I am a republican, this has been way blown out of proportion as said earlier. Cheney is somewhat doing our country a service by being vice president since he makes more than enough money to quit anyday of anyweek. The news agencies are again just trying to appeal to what we want to hear. Although I will agree, this is news worthy, it has been way over played.
I agree, this whole thing has been blown out of proportion. Hunting incidents occur all the time, but democrats can't gain anything off the other incidents, so they now have something to poke fun at, like little third graders.
But, in a country where the liberals force feed us any and all bad news about the republican administration in control, what can one do?
this is a classic Cambodian Comedy. Granted, i don't know what a Cambodian Comedy is, but this is definitely it. Who the hell apologises to the guy a who shot him. "I am sorry you shot me, Dick! I want to really apologise for all the grief i have put your family through, especially Lynne. She doesn't deserve this! I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me. This debilitating pain from the pellets you shot me with must be miniscule compared to the pain you and yours are going through right now!" 
Is whittington out of his mind? Guy almost kills him twice (lets not forget the heart attack now) and he apologises to him. You know what, if that's the way he is going to behave after being shot, then i say he deserved it and i am not even to feel sorry for the old bastard. What the hell is wrong with the old goat.
You have to love republicans though. if it was a democrat? let me just say there would be some busy law clerks out there!!
