What Up FriHost....
Curious question...2 actually...
First, the rate at which php script completes varies by the amount of memory that is alloted to the php process to complete, right? I know that on my apache test server (WAMP) you an manually allocate a specific amout of memory for php scripts and this is my best understanding of that process.
I notice that now that server 2 has been reset there is now 8mb alloted for the php scripts instead of the 16 that was on the old server 2. I have noticed some php cms scripts running notably slower than before (most noticable would be my admin in wordpress - bout 7-8 secs now, was like 1). Is the max mem going to remain 8 on the server or will it be restored to 16?
Anyways, thanks guys. Freegin Sweet. Oh yea, and despite, the new server rocks the mic.
