php sessions for different accounts

kv
I wanted to know whether the php sessions for different accounts are different. Also are they different for different subdomains of same account?

More description can be found here

The cookies used for PHP sessions are subdomain dependant. For example, all the cookies set on example.com won't be set on test.example.com.

So any cookies set on your subdomain are only used on your subdomain. If it wasn't this way, there'd be so many cross-site scripting holes it wouldn't be funny!

Will there be any exploits if you put like:
setcookie("name", "value", time()+3600, .frihost.net);
