Smokers in Sport
Are there any of you out there that are still smoking and participating in sports?
Well let me tell you..... QUIT!!!
I smoked for 10 years before i started martial arts and didnt stop until i got my first ass whooping on the mats but when i quit it was the best thing i have ever done.
I am stronger, fitter and healthier than ever before. I am more awake in the mornings, food tastes better and sex is much better (smoking long term actually shrinks your penis by reducing the blood supply and stops you getting a proper erection!)
So my advice to anyone out there is quit. And try to do it straight away with no help from tablets or patches etc. They just prolong the time it takes to give up. I had tried many times before but this time I had a real reason, one that meant more to me than the pleasure of a cigarette.
