I have a site, a very large site that I'm constantly updating and fixing mistakes.
Tell me, would putting a <meta refresh> tag make sure that my visitors get the latest version of a page?
Are there any drawbacks to using the <Meta Refresh> tag?

It wouldn't really help, it just refreshes the page while your users are browsing it - a major annoyance. I think maybe you're thinking of the meta cache-control tag. I believe it assures that your visitors get the latest version of your page...
