Can anyone suggest the best video card for me under $100, I really need a cheap one
Best Cheap video card?
I suggest you to look for ATI cards you'll be able to find good cheap cards, I can't compare prices because I'm living in France but here you can find a Radeon ATI 9600 Pro - 256 Mo - AGP to €75 or $91.
Hope you'll find what you're seeking for.

Look no further than Crucial:

They have some great cards and they're pretty cheap too.
For instance:
The Crucial RADEON 9250 128MB AGP - $45.99
or (significantly better)
The Crucial RADEON 9600SE 128MB AGP - $73.99
Very reliable company - I've bought a load of stuff from them and never had any problems.

try Radeon 9800 Pro, you can flash the BIOS to a 9800XT
if you don't mind a refurbished product you should chech these out. I kinda assumed you needed AGP 4x/8x,
ATI x700

or
GeForce 6600

both are great cards.

Only buy a x700 if you just can't buy a x800.
and the x700 or x800 should provide higher FPS.
Actually the x700 and 6600 have very similar performance, each with their strong points but I believe nVidia had it on this battle overall.
But for most applications, I'm fairly certain it was
x700 < 6600 < x800 < 6800
... and his budget was under $100, which cuts out the higher end here.

depends what pc u got
a GeCube 9550Gu worked fine for me , its clocked a bit better then a 9600 Pro if u need PciX then u'r in a bit of troubles cuz they cost mroe and i suggest u save up more there it's worth it
ATI 9550 cards are quite cheap, plus they can be easily overclocked to reach 9600 clock and mem speeds.
Second the Radeon 9550 recommendation. That's an awesome card, although I wouldn't recommend overclocking it.
NVidia 6200...or ATi radeon x300.Both are under 70s
I wouldn't recommend a Geforce 6200 or x300.
They might be cheap but your grandaddy's rusty wheelchair is faster.
Do not go lower then a Nvidia Geforce 6600GT or ATI Radeon x700Pro
By the what games do you want to play on it?
for doom I recommend Nvidia
but for Source games like Half-Life 2 I recommend ATI
