Hi, Is there anyway I can download directly to my account. I explain: instead of downloading to my pc and then upload to the server? Is there any script or application that will let me do this? I am sorry for asking so much and for many silly questions but some body once said asking doesn't hurt!

What program do you use to download the material first?
for example, I want to install Joomla, so instead of download the .zip file to my pc, I would like to download it directly to my ftp account or elsewhere in the server.

As far as I know, you'll need to download it to your PC first since it's in a zip file format. I may be wrong, but I don't think you can unzip files that are on the server.

the unzip part is not a problem because you can unzip in the server is just about the downloading what I would like to know.
