I'm currently working on a user-friendly python webserver.
I've created a logo for it.
What do you think about it ?

I like it, but the snowflake has a line where it meets the background... Try to make it mmore blend in to the picture
rhaa... didn't see it because of 16K colors with my X11 server
I'm gonna try to suppress this line. thanks
EDIT :
and now ?

Well, it's still a line, but it is better, I think
not bad, i only think your text effect doesn't fully match the snowflake.
do you speak about the color ?
very simple logo, it looks nice. but i think u have to work on it a little more
i'd agree...
its a good start but it needs more content.
Why don't you try putting the snow flake and "Celsius" a bit closer w/ each other. Maybe you can add some grid lines or just experiment using the brushes found on your image editor (Photoshop or Paintshop... whichever your using... )
u either need to match the background of the txt to the snowflake background or match the txt background colour to the snowflake....
if i had more time i could do it for u but i really havent sorry!
shoudl be easy for u now as u have the main images...
is now this line suppressed ?

Very good!
So tell us more about that webserver of yours
Yes, nice logo, but, to me, the text Glow is a bit too much, maybe lower it a bit... For some good logo tuts and things of this nature go to www.zymic.com they are a pretty good source, also, if you would like some more help/comments, go to www.killa-designs.com, im a judge there and there are some other people that are really good in PhotoShop there.
In my opinion it would be good if you would add something to the background.
Also maybe you could give us more information about the site, so we can give better feedback.

It has not yet been released, and is still waiting for approval at sourceforge.net
So, his name will be CelSius WS (WS for webserver), maybe you guessed
It's written in python, so that it's OS independent.
In fact it will be a 'desktop' server, user-friendly, with statistics, GUI, and maybe more.
I'll try to get it working with PHP, I think it won't be very difficult. I just have to get putenv() function working and to find some other stuff.
As I said before, it's a desktop, personal web-server, designed to be used for personal website. Then, it focuses on security and will be easy to use, with although enough speed (at the moment it runs faster than my Apache...), and configuration options, like access-denied files, access-restricted directories and so on.
I know it will never be much used, because of its unusual nature (server in python...), but maybe it will have some supporters
