How new is New Age? This is a serious query. I remember New Age being around about 10 years ago. Or is this a general category like Modern Music?

New age music for me is that kind of music that inspires, relax, and make you feel more confortble, like Enya, Vangelis, Ravi Shankar, and many others !. Does anybody here know them ?
