Gathering all script-pieces

The scripting-board now contains now almost 900 topics. Some of them have the same subject because the users didn't know there was already such a topic (cf form-mail scripts ed). Some of those topics contain some verry usefull scripts. But they are so hard to find due to the large number of topics.
Wouldn't it be handy to gather all those code snippets in a 'sticky'-topic. Each snippet in a post or something. They would be quoted from the original poster, so no points are gained or something similar. If links to other similar scripts are posted, they could be included too...
Would be handy to to prevent duplicate topics, and (a little) more user-friendly to search in...

But imagine, you need a script to display all files in a directory. You open a new topic with you request in the scipting-forum. But did you know there was already such a topic with a pretty handy script in it, posted by Bondings in the early days of FriHost?

Most user do not use the search-abilities of the forum. They hardly even check the first page of the scripting-forum for a similar topic. Posting a request in a new topic is way easier then going through those 900 topics...
Such a topic would make it easier for users to find a little script, and would prevent duplicate topics with about 10 post saying 'There is already such topic' or 'use the search-feature'...

Oh, and I agree, those points are a nasty problem. Don't know how to solve it (other then the quote-tags)
