I am looking to make some money on the side with Google AdSense. Has anyone had a positive experience with this service and made money by putting links on their site?
Even $50 a month would be nice. Has anyone pulled those kind of numbers? If so, what kind of traffic did you need to support that kind of revenue?

Once you have to get 50$ after that you can get more money easy.
I think google adsence is better than other adverting program.

check it out. took me almost 1 year just to get $100, it's not that easy but it really depends on what kinda website you have...i think finance/tech websites earn the most!
Google Adsense is most definitely the best advertising program that you will find. I have tried many and most of the others, but nothing touches Adsense. In term of payments, Google does a great job at handling your money. If you want to rack in the cash, go Adsense.
Brand new website. four days old I placed some links on high traffic sites. specialized categories and the first night I made $45. THe site is niched nicely and I am getting high CPM ($200+) with a CTR of over 13%. Routinely make 1.50 a day on another site. All of my sites are young I've been watching the income slowly rise.
BTW ~ second day after placing the ads the site only genereated 4.50. But If I can continue that, then grow from there as The site gets more links and traffic i'll be happy to get about $20 a day. For now? It's pays my hosting and beer!

That CTR sounds way too high. I can't imagine many people will get anywhere near that. And I suspect Google will be wary of that.
BTW did no one tell you, you can get free hosting at www.frihost.com!Ok Adsense is the best ...I agree 
I don't want to jack your thread here, but I didn't really want to start a new topic with the same title...Anyway I just signed up for AdSense and I put the banner on all of my pages. I am not getting any ads when I go there though. All I get are public service ads. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
i have friend making $30 a month of adsense. It works, just not lucrativly

Those are displayed first, then eventually it will start showing paying ads.
It's going very well for me.Yep it started like an hour our so after I put the new pages with the code up. I earned $2.07 on 3 clicks and like 40 impressions...This is pretty cool...
3 clicks 2 dollars?!?! I got 57 clicks one day and didn't get 2 dollars.
Well, I make about $1 a day, on Cheese Games. Which is fine for me, my friend makes about $5, which he really likes.

Look where the ads are? Down the bottom, out of view. Users love it, which sometimes makes them feel bad for me and click on them. They're not in your face.

Look where his ads are, in a better place, but they get annoying. Wow, I just got 2.50 for 2 clicks, that's a freaking load for only two clicks.

It all depends on the keywords on your page, and what country the ads are being displayed in. You will generally get a better CPC in US than in India for example.It depends on how you merge with your content and obvious your content has to be interesting.
I just started and made 1.22$ with 4 clicks.
That's very good actually, keep your keywords the same so you keep advertising the same advertisers.
