[CSS] how to place a div in the middle of a page

Hello folks!

Is it possible to place a div in the middle of a page with CSS? What would be a good alternative?

tables... tables is the answer if you want to put what on where. make some invisible tables and put the div on the middle.

or just <br>/  the whole page until you reach your middle then make your <div> tag.
