Could be a faulty monitor cable, i had the same problem with mine..
Swapped the cable and all is now ok.
I agree with the previous poster. Check the pinouts on the monitor cable and make sure none of the pins are bent or mssing. I have seen this as a monitor and/or cable issue but I have never seen the yellow caused by a video card.
does it happen at exactly the same time every single boot-up? im thinking that if its periodic, it could be something to do with the video card software initialising and some problem with that or something along those lines....coz if its a faulty cable, it might happen at random intervals and not every single boot up at the exact same time
Good point. I have seen strange behaviour as a result of the graphics driver and/or software. Did you install an updated driver about the same time as the yellowing started?
Thanks for the tips. The strange thing is that it happens allmost in the same time period... I will chang the monitor cable...
Thanks again...
Could it be the monitor itself? just for elimination purpose (if you haven't sort it out), It would be nice to hook it up with other pc or laptop to check it out.
I've recently had a problem with my video card, the fan stops working and my pc just hang after few minutes. I don't think this is your problem though. Just thought it is a good knowledge to shared with.
