Proposals to introduce GP surgeries in supermarkets have been greeted with anger by medical professionals and opposition from some MPs.
Health Secretary Patricia Hewitt will be announcing next Monday that supermarkets could be encouraged to provide "one stop-shop" medical centres that even offer minor surgery at "convenient opening hours". (NTLWorld News)
